I was commissioned to create the illustrations for TUMULTO, a poetry book that features minimalistic, continuous line art. I collaborated closely with the author to bring her vision to life, ensuring that the artwork complemented the tone and themes of her writing.

Artistic Vision
The author desired illustrations that would be both simple yet expressive, drawing the reader in without overpowering the poetry itself. We decided on a minimalistic approach using continuous line drawings to emphasize fluidity and emotion, enhancing the reflective and introspective nature of the poetry.
Process
I met with the author to discuss the overall look and feel of the book, gathering insights on how the illustrations could mirror the flow of the poetry. After conceptualizing the style, I used Procreate to sketch the initial designs, later refining them in Photoshop. The result was a series of line illustrations that seamlessly blend with the poetic content, enriching the reader's experience.
